The Giffin Grip mini is the same great pottery trimming and decorating chuck but thinner so your trimmings stay in the pan.
It can hold the tiniest of pots : down to 5/8" diameter.
It will fit and lock on any wheel with 10" bat pin spacing as well as the Shimpo Aspire.
It works clockwise and counterclockwise !
The new Giffin Grip Mini has all the quality and reliability you expect from the Giffin Grip only smaller and packed with cool new features.
The Giffin Grip Mini attaches to the wheel head with bat pins (both 6” and 10” wide pin spacing). The Mini is much lower profile than the Model 10 so your trimmings will stay in your splash pan! It also locks down once you’ve centered your pot so that it doesn’t loosen/tighten while you’re trimming. You can trim pieces starting at 5/8” in diameter all the way up to 9.5” in diameter.
Model 10 parts are not compatible with the Mini (and vice versa).
