Amaco CELEBRATION High Fire Pottery Glazes
Amaco CELEBRATION High Fire Pottery Glazes are AP classroom safe mid-fire glazes for cone 5 cone 6. They include bright and pastel colors for stoneware that are as colorful as earthenware glazes.
Like all Amaco glazes the Celebration Series Glazes are well tested and dependable.
These glazes are great when used in contrasting colors, next to or on top of each other. Furthermore, excellent results have been achieved when used over the Sahara (HF) or Potter's Choice (PC) series glazes. Therefore, don't restrict yourself to the 18 colors in this series. Experiment with these glazes in different combinations and increase your choice of color and texture. These glazes are great to produce colorful utilitarian ware.
Bisque fire the clay to Cone 04, then glaze and fire to maturing temperature at Cone 5. The final surface appearance will change depending on the clay body on which they are applied.

Natural Sheffield Clay is mined on our property from as seen at one of the open clay pits. The Sheffield Clay deposit is located in Sheffield, Massachusetts, on U.S. Route 7 in the Southwest corner of Berkshire County.
