Sheffield Earthenware is based on our native clay that we mine here in Sheffield, MA! We added various ball clays and fluxes to produce a semi-vitreous red earthenware clay body. Sheffield is ideal for wheel throwing, slab, or pinched handbuilt pieces. Although this clay fires red, it will not stain hands or clothes. |
