If you are ordering a new Skutt kiln, consider the C.I.S. preinstalled. It allows to to program you electronic controller simply and easily from your PC.
If you make your own glazes and/or clay bodies you may benifit from Frog Pond's GlazeMaster software which helps you keep track of your recipes, variations and results.
