They may be left as is or dye can be rubbed into the cracks to give the pattern more visibility.Spectrum Crackle Glazes are safe to use by children and pregnant women because they are certified lead-free and non-toxic. However, crackle glazes are not dinnerware safe due to the possibility of bacterial growth in cracks.
