The Bluebird Powerstar-1 is a mid sized, heavy duty pugmill specifically designed for efficient, thorough reclaiming and wedging, making it an excellent investment for school or university ceramics departments and full time production studios. Design features distinguish the Powerstar-1 and reduce required maintenance:
- Direct-drive gear-reducer and 1 hp motor
- Air-piston activated vacuum rod
- Self-lubricating internal bearings
The Powerstar-1 produces consistently dense, plastic, de-aired clay for throwing, slab rolling, hand building, ram pressing and jiggering. Enhance ease of operation with addition of optional wheel base. If your clay use averages between 1,000 and 2,000 lbs per month, the Powerstar-1 is the machine for you!

Extruding Solid extrusions are possible with standard nozzle and owner-made dies. Hollow extrusions require an accessory 4.5" round nozzle and internal die holder. Manual includes instructions for die-making and using the equipment as an extruder.
Guarantee Bluebird guarantees to replace or repair any part which is defective in material or in workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. Drive train and electrical components are guaranteed by their respective manufacturers for a period of one (1) year from date of purchase. Repairs made by other than authorized service dealers will void the manufacturer's guarantee.
