NOTE: The 1813 kilns do not have a floor element as it ins not needed in a kiln of this size.
The GX1813D is equipped with a Bartlett Genesis controller which is mounted in an angled, easy view control panel.
The Genesis kiln controller offers wifi capabilities including remote monitoring. Wifi is not needed though to access the many great features of the Genesis such as improved diagnostics, glass and PMC programs, and much more!
The GX1813D is a very versatile kiln. It is used in doll studios, pottery studios and classrooms. It fires easily to a true cone 10.
It is a double insulated kiln with 2 ½ " premium brick plus 1" of block insulation.
This double insulation saves approximately 30% in electricity costs and has a safer, cooler jacket.
Kanthal A-1 elements, stainless steel jacket and fittings, and excellent Cone Art craftsmanship all are standard.
