Derby 3000 HT is a wet, air-setting fire clay mortar or kiln cement with a temperature limit of 3000˚F. This smooth consistency mortar clay develops a strong brick-to-brick bond and has excellent work capability. It is equivalent to Sairset.
This mortar can be used to bond dense fire-brick or insulating fire-brick.
Tip Use very thin coat. For Insulating firebrick, wet the bricks before applying the mortar.
