A great kiln for small projects, clay testing, glaze tests, and PMC.
Fast firing, cone 10, 120 volt, and inexpensive all-in-one Olympic HB64. The square firing chamber is surrounded by a stainless steel jacket and reaches cone 10, 2350°F on 120 volts in less than two hours. Attached legs or stand allow the kilns to be used on any surface, including countertops. Kanthal A-1 elements insure long life and the infinite switch controls heating to an exact temperature. Although built with a low purchase price as an objective, the materials and workmanship found in the HotBoxes are backed by Olympic’s years of experience.
