Super Duty Hard-brick / Fire-Brick

These dense Firebrick are 9" x 4.5" x 2.5".
They are used in wood-fired kilns and ovens.
They are also available in 3" size : 9" x 4.5" x 3" as well as various arches, wedges, splits and soaps.
They easily handle temperatures well over 2350 F.
This type of dense fire brick is resistant to abrasion and wood smoke.
For salt soda kilns you will want to select the 70% Alumina bricks. You can use the more economical High Heat duty grade fire bricks in the chimneys of wood and gas kilns.
Most kilns, ovens and furnaces utilize a combination of several types of fire-brick and refractories.
