NOTE: Even though these are 120 volt kilns, only some run on a standard household outlet. The Traveler, the 129 and the1214 require 5-20 outlet. They all require a dedicated 20 amp breaker.

The Olympic 120-volt Top Loading Electric kilns are ideal for the individual firing smaller items, PMC, testing items, such as different types of glaze, and for those who only have 120-volts accessibility. Choose the model by the size pieces you will be firing.

THE MODELS
HOTBOXES Fast firing, cone 10, 120 volt, and inexpensive all-in-one Olympic HotBox. Olympic offers HotBoxes in three sizes. The square firing chamber is surrounded by a stainless steel jacket and reaches cone 10, 2350°F on 120 volts in less than two hours. Attached legs or stand allow the kilns to be used on any surface, including countertops. Kanthal A-1 elements insure long life and the infinite switch controls heating to an exact temperature. Although built with a low purchase price as an objective, the materials and workmanship found in the HotBoxes are backed by Olympic’s years of experience.
The HB84 and HB86 have optional Blank or Bead Collars. Note: Collars reduce maximum firing temp to 2000F

DOLL KILN Olympic’s Doll kiln is a must for the serious doll maker. The Doll kiln is also ideal for testing. This compact little kiln measures 9” high, 7” wide and 11 1/4” long. It comes equipped with a attached stand, locking lid brace, and infinite switch for more accurate temperature control. Best of all, this kiln fires to cone 10, 2350°F on 120 volts, and is lightweight enough to be sent via UPS.

129 The 129 measures 11 1/4” wide and 9” deep. It’s built of 3” brick to insure consistent firings on 120 volts. A multi-position switch is used for accurate heat control, or an electronic control is an option. This lightweight portable kiln is perfect for all types of firing and comes equipped with a tall stand. The 129 fires to cone 6, 2250° F on 120 volts.

1214-120 The model 1214-120 is a six-sided kiln, 11 1/4” wide and 13 1/2” deep. Like the model 129, it is built with 3” brick making it energy efficient. Additional insulation is in the bottom of kiln as well. The 1214- 120 fires to cone 4, 2100° F on 120 volts. Designed to be used anywhere for all types of firing including porcelain, this kiln provides the depth you need without limitations of higher voltage requirements. A three position, low, medium, and high switch and kiln sitter are standard. Limit timer, electronic control and pyrometer are options available.
