Vent-a-Fume : Place-a-Vent : Fume, Heat, and Dust Extractors

Place-a-Vent dust, fume and heat extractors

The Place-a-Vent dust, fume, smoke, and heat extractors are highly versatile and powerful blowers with flexible ducting and galvanized steel hood to get the suction exactly where you need it. The squirrel cage blowers are suitable for fumes or dust. (Please call for quote if you need sparkless motor)

Place-a-Vent packages include a heavy foot to keep the hood where you want it. You can upgrade to goose-neck hood holder. The goose-neck holder is available with either a clamp-on stand or a magnetic base. By placing the hood so that it pulls air away from the operator which keeps fumes, dust and heat moving away from your breath zone. This is critically imperative for worker safety.

The smaller FE500 Place-a-Vent units are ideal for soldering stations and for areas with chemical dust such as where you would weigh and mix dry glaze materials. This is a great size for flame-work / lamp-work for glass makers as well !

The mid-size FE800 has a larger hood and 800 cfm making it the right solution for brazing and welding as well as larger glaze chemical weighing and dry batch mixing areas.

The large FE1200 is used with larger laser and plasma cutting machines among other things. It features a powerful 1200 cfm motor and 10" hood. (Call us for custom hood and other configuration requests).

The Vent-a-Fume company is known for quality workmanship and amazing solutions to challenging problems.

These units have a 1 year warranty and an option to upgrade to 3 years.
