Vent-A-Kiln captures and removes unpleasant fumes, odors, and heat from kilns. It is a close-capture fume system designed for low CFM and static pressure applications. Standard and custom models are available for use in schools and in other educational or commercial facilities by professionals and hobbyists alike.
OVERHEAD COUNTERWEIGHT PULLEY SYSTEM.
Features Include: Spun Aluminum hood, fan motor (115V) , 6' cord and plug, hood, convenient overhead counterweight pulley system, venting kit with 10' of 5" hose on 265 CFM & 121/2' of 6" hose on 500 CFM, all clamps, and external mounting plates for discharge. Hood positioned above and close to a kiln to capture natural, upward flow of air & fumes. Available in both positive and negative pressure systems. No upsetting of a kiln's firing balance by the removal of heat from inside the kiln. No cold spots within the kiln to interfere with firing process. No motor vibration to disturb kiln during firing - Vent-a-kiln never comes in contact with kiln. No delayed heat up time or reduction in firing temperature capability. No modification of kiln is required. Vent-a-kiln is covered by a full 1 year warranty. For use on installations with moderate overhead ceiling heights of 8' to 12'. For higher ceilings use the swinging wall bracket accessory.
